Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the US. She is most famous for her role as Skyler White on The AMC television drama Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Her other roles include Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Her birthplace was in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting during Preparatory School prior to her family's move to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. She attended the British American Drama Academy and pursued a degree in theater in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna was a part of Chicago's theatre for a few years, prior to attempting TV and movie roles. Anna's first major role was Arden on Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. She continued to appear as a guest star in a number of television shows and films like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue up to the end of 1990's when she appeared in a role that she reprised as Jean Ward in The Practice. At the beginning of 2000 she was placed in Deadwood for the part of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. In 2008 she was also cast as Skyler for the show Breaking Bad. In addition, she was a part of the Deadwood movie as well as Sully. Gunn has also appeared on the stage for David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. In 2022 the actress also was a part of a four-part audio play podcast called"Numbered Days. The main storyline of Breaking Good is revolves around the love story between Walter White, his wife Skyler as well as their uneasy relationship. The strained relationship and its eventual ending are reminiscent of the end of Walter White's story.
